An Honest Review of the Margaritaville Ride Behind Grill

January 18th, 2011

Whether you’re on the road and you like to have the best of both worlds while you are camping or you need a robust grill that feels like you are at home while tailgating, the Margarittaville G1000 ride behind grill is one of the best options you can get. In this Margaritaville grill review, we’ll look at some of the things that make this the best tailgate grill around!

The Margaritaville combines the best of convenience and power and sacrifices very little. To start off with, this grill is a hitch mounted grill that rides behind the vehicle while travelling. This is accomplished using a sturdy frame that locks in place for travel but then unfolds when it comes time to use it. The fact that it’s a “ride behind” grill gives it the ability to be much larger than your average tailgating grill. This comes in especially handy when you have a large crowd to feed. But size isn’t everything. The grill also comes with two burners for a combined 20,000 BTUs! This is like grilling on your home gas grill. The unit is designed to incorporate all of the modern convenience of portable grilling. Things such as collapsible side tables for plates, buns and condiments, a spice shelf that lets you store all of the special seasonings you can’t do without, and utensil hooks so that everything is within reach. Also, because it’s a gas grill, you don’t have to mess around getting it started; simply hook up the gas (it takes a 1lb propane cylinder) and hit ignition switch and you are good to go. » Read more: An Honest Review of the Margaritaville Ride Behind Grill

Recipes That Can Be Made With Fish

December 27th, 2010

Fish is a food that can be both delicious and nutritious. Regular consumption of this food  allows a person to get the recommended omega 3 fatty acids, which are essential for heart health. Eating the same food the same way for a long period of time can lead to boredom, so  that is why it is important to have many healthy fish recipes. Having  different fish recipes allows a person to enjoy this tasty food in many ways. Below two recipes will be discussed and the instructions on how to prepare them will also be given.

One delectable recipe to try is Pecan Alaska Salmon. The ingredients needed for this recipe are: two  tablespoons of dijon mustard, two tablespoons of melted butter, one tablespoon of honey, one-forth cup of bread crumbs, one forth cup of finely chopped pecans, two teaspoons of fresh parsley, and four six ounce salmon fillets. Maytag Refrigerators

December 1st, 2010

Maytag refrigerators come in many different forms.  One popular style of Maytag refrigerator freezers happens to their Bottom Freezer refrigerators. In this article I discuss this particular type of Maytag fridge freezer.

The cheapest Maytag refrigerator of this style is the MBF2258XEB.  This unit contains 22 cubic feet of available space – 6 dedicated to the freezer and a little over 15 cubic foot inside the refrigerated compartment.

The price for this unit is thirteen hundred dollars and this model can be had in any of traditional white, basic black, or – for those a little more adventurous – a bisque finish.

There is a nice feature set on this Maytag refrigerator.  It includes a dual cool feature designed to ensure the highest possible level of freshness for both frozen foods and fresh produce.  The dual adjustable deli-drawers allow for efficient use of the crisper compartments.

This refrigerator freezer also includes a built-in ice machine unit, and the freezer drawers glide freely in and out using Maytag’s SmoothClose Drawer system – one of their own trademarked innovations.

This Maytag refrigerator is also available – for an extra two hundred dollars – with a stainless steel finish. The MBL2258XES is similar to the MBF2258SEB except for a left opening stainless steel door.  Likewise, the MBR2258XES reverses the door, for a right opening entrance.  Buyers seeking to match their fridge freezer to existing stainless steel appliances will want to choose one of these models. » Read more: Maytag Refrigerators

Benefits of a Gas BBQ

September 6th, 2010

A gas BBQ is a perfect outdoor cooking equipment to have during summer cookouts. It is the ultimate portable grilling device. Its stand alone design makes it easy to carry it around to campsites, beaches, or just outside your house. Easy to set up, easy to clean, and easy to cook with, it has a lot of other excellent features that getting one is always an easy decision to make.

A gas BBQ has a built in tank for the fuel. They can be fired up like an ordinary stove. Their heat can be easily controlled to cook a variety of food from fish to meat. They use high quality burners and in some models infrared radiators and lava rocks to produce heat efficiently. These are also one of the most versatile outdoor cooking equipment because not only is the user limited to regular BBQ grilling but with added accessories, you can fry, boil, or roast with your gas BBQ. Some can even be easily converted into a rotisserie with just a few adjustments while other models with a lid can be used as a smoker.

A gas BBQ minimizes flare outs from dripping oils. Cooking with them is not as messy as compared to cooking with a charcoal grill. As outdoor cooking equipment goes, a gas BBQ is very cost effective as the fuel is not expensive and there will be less waste from food being burnt due to the adjustable heat controls and non stick coatings.

As opposed to other outdoor cooking equipment, a gas BBQ can be pulled out from storage anytime you get the urge to do some barbecuing. It will not be dependent on an electrical outlet, you wouldn’t have to worry about getting a charcoal fire going and you can set it up anywhere you want. You can get to making excellent tasting BBQ in no time.

Ideas For Using Portable Gas Grills

March 20th, 2010

A portable gas grill may not, at first, seem like a product that would serve many purposes in your life. Perhaps you own a full size grill already, and doubt there’s much you need a tiny little grill for. Or perhaps you don’t own a grill and are perfectly happy with the meals you make for yourself and your family. Or perhaps you have a portable charcoal grill and don’t see the need for a gas version.

No matter what you’re grilling situation, if you don’t own a portable gas grill, it really is something you should look into. Perhaps not everyone, but most people probably have some great dream scenarios for situations and occasions that would be the perfect setting for the use of a portable gas grill – and they may not even know it!

Here’s our top four list of ways to use (and reasons to invest in) a portable gas grill:

  • Camping. Because the propane tanks used for portable gas grills are much smaller than their full-size counterparts, these are incredibly portable. Since the fuel is contained, you avoid some of the safety hazards of cooking with fire while you camp, plus it doesn’t take long at all to get the heat up to temperature and ready to cook.
  • Picnics. Like camping, only cleaner. A portable gas grill means you can have fresh grilled picnic fare almost anywhere (where it’s allowed, of course). Simple and portable, many come with easy covers and carrying cases, so you can carry your grill in one hand and your picnic basket in the other.
