If you have wicker or wooden furniture then natural colored patio cushions look good in a country garden whereas it is better to seek out bright tropical prints or plains for the poolside to complement the bright color of the water in the pool and to avoid looking dull in the summer sun.

These can be as simple as a table cloth or throw for your furniture or a painted pot filled with flowers in bloom. This will give your patio a coordinated look which will increase its sense of style.
