All doors no matter what type are fitted into door frames. A door frame is a lining usually made of wood that is fixed into a structural opening in a wall. It is impractical to fit a door directly to a brickwork wall and for that reason the door frame is essential. The door is fitted into the frame. The frame is then lined with wood linings or architraves of the same finish as the door.
Frames are made from long lengths of molded timber and then cut up into smaller lengths to assemble the frame suitable for the door size. The profile of the framing depends on the location of the frame and the type of door that will be fitted. A frame used to hang an internal door would be quite different to a frame for hanging external hardwood doors for example. There are a couple of types of internal frames used. The first is a simple frame comprising square edge timber section. The frame is assembled to suit the size of the door and the door is hung on one side of the frame. Timber door stops are then planted onto the surface of the frame. The door closes against the stops and secured by the lock. The second type has a rebate cut into the frame. The door is hung into the rebate and in this instance no door stops are required as the rebate up stand does the same job. Continued…

The first question everyone asks and the biggest concern most customers have is how much do fiberglass swimming pools cost? And as you probably know even before you ask the question the answer is very complicated…
The best analogy is the cost of a car. A car can cost a certain amount say $12,000. But if you want to add in special features such as a leather interior, CD player etc, the price can increase by several thousand dollars. The same is true of a fiberglass pool. A standard pool with no extra features can cost anywhere from around $15,000 up to $30,000. This is a large range in and of itself. Small fiberglass swimming pools cost less than large ones etc.
Other add-ons that people have the options of when purchasing a fiberglass pool include but are not limited to:
Tile along the perimeter about the level of the waterline
Colored pool surface finish
Diving boards
Slides
Handrails
Ladders
Additional Jets
Water Features
Automatic Vacuums
Automatic Covers
Security Features
Water Features
Decorative Decking.
This is by no means a comprehensive list. Keep in mind that the car analogy does break down. People often purchase a new car every 5 years or so, but a pool lasts much longer. Therefore, be sure that you install all of the features that you will want in the future. They are much more difficult to add later. Continued…

A water hose is a common household item that is widely used to transport water from water tank, ponds etc to the gardens, lawns and farm. Water pump is a vital component of water hose system as it pumps the water from a source to the destination place.
The “power rating” of a pump determines the rate of flow at which water is carried through the hose. There are various types of pumps which generally differ from each other in term of horse power. These are all designed to meet the requirement of different customers. If someone wants to pump the water from a source which is situated at lower side toward a higher region then a high power pump needs to be installed. The installation of a low power pump will lead to frequent burn outs as it won’t be able to bear the load.
Water pump is an essential component which should be taken care of while buying a hose package. One of the important features that need to be considered is the type and power of water pump. Make sure that pump is fully compatible with all other Continued…

Anyone who has ever had to lug a chair two or three blocks to the beach or to a parade appreciates lightweight, comfortable, and durable folding beach lounge chairs. If you are getting older or have difficulty getting up from low chairs, you will also want a chair that is at least 18 inches high. This type of chair is designed for portability and easy storage and can withstand sun, wind, sand, and the occasional spill.
Usually this particular kind of outdoor furniture is made of lightweight materials such as an aluminum frame and polyester materials. The less pricey chairs start at about US $17. This price chair has an aluminum frame with woven plastic strips that form a web for the seat and back of the chair. This type of chair will weigh around 6 to 8 lbs depending on the frame. This chair is great for occasional use. I have found that if you need to occupy this chair for an outdoor concern or any event where you need to remain seated for a period, you will probably need a cushion. Cushions do add to the weight of the chair and reduce the ease of transport. Another consideration of this particular priced chair is the relatively short life of the webbing of the back and seat. If you have some of this type of chair around and the frame and armrest are in good condition, re-webbing materials and kits are available to spruce up the vintage chair for several more seasons.
If you want new folding, portable chairs, there are a number of styles in as many different materials available. The prices vary from around US $30 to as much as US $200 for an individual chair. It is assumed that price listings would be for the individual chair, but some of the chairs can be ordered in quantities if you are interested in purchasing a few hundred to a few thousand chairs at one time. In addition to the webbed chair, there are director’s chairs, butterfly chairs, camp chairs, stools, and three legged backless seating. You can get cup holders, magazine sacs, and head cushions as accessories. There are chaise lounge chairs that fold and have convenient carrying straps. There are chairs that have canvas backing and seats and weigh about 5 lbs.

From installing a patio cover overhead to provide some protection from the sun and rain, to adding a few bright and cheerful pots or cushions to your furniture, there are many easy ways to really make your patio a place that you look forward to spending time whenever you can.
