Shedding some Light on Outdoor Pole Lights

The term “exterior lighting” encompasses a variety of outdoor lighting fixtures… outdoor pole lights, outdoor wall lights and porch ceiling lights. This article is going to focus on the various styles and shapes displayed by the lighting fixtures that hang on an outside wall or pole.

When a home has a traditional looking post lamp at the entrance to the driveway, then it should have fixtures with a classical style hanging on the exterior walls. A Madera or Benner lamp would seem appropriate. Both of those items copy the look of the traditional lamp, i.e. they have four sides and a sloping top.
